The databases below offer CME credits for basic browsing and searching. To claim and redeem credits you will need to create a FREE ACCOUNT on EACH database while you are on the HU Wifi or logged into your library account. 

You can also go to the DATABASES tab and search for "CME".

Canvas

Journals and Books

Most of these items can be downloaded by the instructor and a pdf copy uploaded directly into Canvas for easy access for students and to avoid having student's login into the HU library every time they want to access the content. If Faculty prefer to use a link, the link below, shows how to add links to Canvas.

McGraw Hill

Canvas has a built in McGraw Hill LTI to directly embed content. Users will need to contact HUhelpdesk@howard.edu for assistance in obtaining access and embedding assistance.

Videos

Videos and be linked in Canvas. To embed the video, Instructors must have access to the Embed code or a way to download the videos

Interactive Exams

These can be linked in Canvas. If this is a popular tool used by faculty, they want to look into having the Exam Master LTIU installed in Canvas. Please contact HUhelpdesk@howard.edu for assistance in getting this LTI tool.
