Welcome to the Louis Stokes Health Sciences Library's (LSHSL) Guide to Resources for Residents of the College of Medicine and Howard University Hospital.  The purpose of this guide is to help you navigate through the many resources available to you through the LSHSL system and freely available online.

Quick Journal Search

NEW PROXY SERVER for REMOTE ACCESS

Please note:  When you click on any subscription resource outside of the Howard network=in the hospital or at home, you will see the screen above.

On the proxy page---use only your 6-digits, HUH IDs 1) Your last name  2) Your 6 digit ID card # and 3) Select your Institution--Howard

Howard ID card users: If the front of your Howard ID Card has 8-digits--then use those 8 digits to sign in to the new proxy server.  If your Howard ID card has 6 or 7 digits, you will need to add a zero or two to the front of your Howard ID card, for instance, 0XXXXXX=7digits, to make 8-digits=00XXXXXX.
