Welcome

National Library Week 2014

Sunday April 13 - Saturday April 19

The Louis Stokes Health Sciences Library invites you to attend our celebratory events for

National Library Week 2014.

Food for Fines

Donate a canned good or other non-perishable food item during National Library Week. Recieve $1.00 off any library fine.  Donation limit cannot exceed $10.00. Goods must be unopened and unexpired.  To participate, drop the items off at the circulation desk.

The food collected will be donated to So Others Might Eat an interfaith community based organization that exists to help the poor and homeless in our nation's capital.

Library Invited Speaker Series

Experts in the areas of nutrition, bioinformatics, publishing and statistical analysis will be presenting brief workshops on these topics.  Come learn, network and meet your library staff.  Refreshments will be served.

Occupational Therapy Breakfast

In celebration of National Library Week and Occupational Therapy Month, Occupational Therapy students and faculty are invited to the Gallery in  the Louis Stokes Health Sciences Library for breakfast.
