Creating Folders

  • At the top under the  tool bar click on New Folders
  • A box will open to Create New Folder
  • Type name of folder and Create
  • Use folders to organize searches, subjects, etc.

Default Folders

Your RefWorks account comes with 3 folders already set up:

Last Imported contains the references from your most recent import.  When your import is complet you can view your imported references by clicking on the "View" tab, clickk on "Folder" and mouse over to "Last Imported" button.

These references are automatically replaced the next time you import references

You can also find this folder and all others in the folder frame on the right of the screen.

Deleted References contain references that you have deleted.  References in this folder will be automatically and permanently deleted after 30 days.  Any undeleted references will be restored with any folder information, attachments, etc.

You can find the folder by clicking on the View tab located on the tool bar near the top of the page.
